in this page i will detail my steps to make a wordpress site that is visually amazing (unlike this one)
- get a host, this should already be done if you are here
- if not you can find free hosts all over the place for your blog
- If you own a domain there are some free options, i used zero host for a while, they require a manual setup of everything. i am on dreamhost.com now and its a breeze.
- to make the site look decent you will probably want a custom framework i chose to go with Genesis, it has a lot of support in the community. the cost is $60.
- you dont have to pay for this, it is available with limited support for free if you do some homework. download link.. here
- legality – wait what? getting paid software free? how is it ok to do this? according to the wordpress GPL it is. read here
- after you have your theme of choice you can upload it in the themes area in wordpress.
